Foster Care Support Worker

Hamilton & Greater Toronto Area
Full-time

Provide direct care and support to children and youth in foster care settings. You'll work closely with foster families to ensure a safe, nurturing environment.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with children and youth in care
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Training in trauma-informed care (or willingness to complete)

Residential Care Worker

Ontario-wide
Full-time

Join residential care teams providing 24/7 support in group homes and treatment facilities. Shift work includes days, evenings, and overnights.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Child and Youth Care, Developmental Services Worker, or equivalent
  • Experience in residential or group care settings preferred
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Current First Aid/CPR and CPI/NVCI certification
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends

Youth Mentor & Support Worker

Ottawa & Eastern Ontario
Part-time

Support youth ages 14-24 in developing life skills, building confidence, and working toward their personal goals through mentorship and structured programming.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Social Services, Youth Work, or related field
  • Experience mentoring or supporting at-risk youth
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification
  • Evening and weekend availability required

Respite Care Provider

Kitchener-Waterloo & Surrounding Areas
Contract

Provide planned and emergency respite care to foster families and kinship caregivers, maintaining established routines and care standards.

Requirements

  • Relevant diploma or equivalent caregiving experience
  • Experience caring for children with diverse needs

  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation
